Where these marriages occur when the non-EU party is an illegal immigrant, has entered the country on a visitor's visa and over stayed, entered the country on a student visa and whose course of studies is now complete and the visa has either expired or will expire soon, then immigration authorities are likely to reject any application to remain as the spouse of an EU citizen.
If your marriage is genuine and she is a UK citizen, why not move to the UK and apply for residency there as the spouse of a UK citizen?
