Rep Power: 0 | Ma name is Mary, I live in Ukraine, I'm 20. And I wish I could live and work in Ireland. Here in my country I'm study journalism, so I think I could make work of waitress or nanny, or housekeeper without any problems. I realize, that it's hard and even impossible to find work by my profession. So tell me please, is it real to find some work, taking notice, that I'm from East Europe, and I don't have EU passport. Which way of search is the best? Thank you guys for answers beforehand. |

Mary, unfortunately, your chances of getting work in Ireland are remote. At present there are over 400,000 people unemployed and more losing their jobs every day. As an non-EU citizen you need a work permit to work in Ireland and work permits are only being issued to certain restricted employment categories where the employer can prove that no suitable EU candidates are available. All other jobs are ineligible for work permits. Would you not consider trying to find a job in the U.S. |
