Default How Far from the Water is Dublin City Centre?

Hi everyone, I would really like to know how close the water is when in Dublin. Is it in walking distance in parts of the city? I live in a HUGE country, Canada, so I am at a loss as far as how bigor small it is...Thanks!

leonis,

There is the River Liffey, which runs through the centre of Dublin. The Irish Sea borders Dublin. All water is easily within walking distance

Yep, as Ireblues says Dublin is very close to the water - no more than a 15 minute bus journey away in most cases.

Don't forget the Blessington Lakes just a bus ride from the city centre.
