Rep Power: 0 | I am on workpermit for past 3 years. I have got job offer from employer who is ok to apply for workpermit for me. I know i need to apply for new workpermit (my current workpermit is valid till mid 2009 on my current employer name) when changing employer. Do my employer need to do Labour Market Needs Test (Advert in FAS/ Local/ National news paper)?. It is not very clear on their web site. Has any one who is on workpermit changed their Job's recently? Any suggestion, please help. |

Hi Once you have a work permit you may transfer to another employer provided the same labour market needs test has been undertaken again (ie. the job must be advertised with the FÁS/EURES employment network and additionally in local and national newspapers, for three days).
