Welcome to Cork. My name is John and a local here.
I have travelled a huge amount myself over the last 3 years and know what it’s like to be in a city where you know very few people. A lot more enjoyable when you have locals to show you around.
Have a great group of friends and we are very active, with sport, travel, socialising, cinema, shows, etc. is the Irish Tourist Board official website. Might help with what’s going on and when.
Well, drop me a line if you are interested in meeting up with a great, easy going group of Irish people.

Hi I’m Liam and I’ve just moved to Cork city from Aberdeen in Scotland.

Doing a PhD at UCC although I will spend nearly all my time at Moorepark research centre (near Fermoy), and most of people there live out that way and so not been able to socialise and become friends with them that well.

I would like to meet people in the city to go on nights out with, watch sport in the pub, play football, go to cinema and live comedy.

If interested just post reply or send email to [email protected]

        All the best
