About India Club
India Club is a non- political, non-sectarian, voluntary organisation founded in 1971 in order to promote good relations between the Irish and Indian peoples.
The aim of the Club is to promote an understanding of the history and culture of India.
Over the years, India Club has organised regular programmes include Social get togethers, Charity evenings, Baisaiki, fashion shows, children’s competition, Diwali and Picnics, usually with Indian food.
The Club is administered by a committee elected at the AGM held in
May/June of each year
The membership is open to all who support the goodwill and aims of the Club.
